Lost iPod music
"I lost all of the music on my 60GB iPod not too long ago! I was backing up all of my music on my laptop so that a friend of mine could copy what he wanted out of it when I suddenly got an error message. I ignored it, only to my horror to discover they next day that my cable had shorted out and caused me to lose all of my music during the transfer!!! Luckily, I had a good percentage of it backed up on an old computer, but I still managed to lose a great deal of what I had downloaded/accumulated over the last couple years. To fix the problem, I invested in a better cable and an external hard drive so that I can periodically back up my files should such a tragedy ever befall me again!"
