Hard drive crash
"Ah, the blue screen of death. This is the last thing you want to see on your personal computer. This happened to me in January 2008 when my hard drive crashed and the information could not be restored. The most valuable data that I lost happened to be the photos of my daughter's wedding. These photos were important to me because this was a very special day and these photos can never be recreated. Before the crash I would upload the photos from my digital camera and clear the memory card for future use. Now I store the photos on either a CD or a memory stick."
