Microsoft version
"When I was in a freshman in college, I was such a procrastinator. I always wrote my essay on the morning of the due date. The excuse that I had for myself was I had mental block and was not able to think of anything. One day, I had an assignment to write about the people who had influenced us in the past. It was an easy topic but I had so many important people in my life that I couldn't decide on who to write about until 5 hours before the paper was due. I wrote the whole paper on my laptop and saved it on my desk top and email. I didn't print the paper at home because I didn't want to be late for work.
When I arrived at the office, I downloaded the document from my email. The document could not be downloaded because the Microsoft version I had at home and the Microsoft version in my office was different. So, I wrote the essay from memory. When I was almost through with writing, the computer shut down. As it turned out, there was a virus and it affected every computer on campus. One hour before class started, I wrote an essay on paper on why my composition instructor was the person who had influenced me the most. I tried to make the essay as convincing as I could. The next day after the essay was turned in, I received it back. I got an F. My instructor had told the class before that she would not take anything that was not typed in MLA format. I just didn't remember. From that day on, I still procrastinated but not all the time. And I remembered to write my essays on papers and type it at school."
