Losting pictures
"Just this summer my fiance and I were at a wedding. She was the bridesmaid so I had to take a bunch of pictures. I had my camera as I always have with me whenever I go somewhere (you never know when a perfect moment will be, or need proof for a car accident). I had taken a good 120 pictures of the wedding ceremony and reception. My fiance had taken a bunch while they were getting the bride ready for the wedding. I stored the pictures to an XD memory card I have for my camera and went to install on my pc later the next day. The chip was loading slowly and once the images came back, only a quarter of it was visible. I pulled the memory card out and put it back in and the worst had happened. The card became corrupt and could not return the pictures. I was officially a dead man. I could not retrieve the pictures that my fiance was so excited to have. I figured out a way to pull the data off of the card and extract and repair the images. Since then, I never just eject my memory cards without actually safely removing them using the Safely Remove feature that Windows provides for memory cards."
