I cancelled all my files
"In the realm of computers, we always want to find ways to do things faster and more efficiently. Hotkeys are an example of this, as they allow you to use the keyboard to quickly perform actions that can take longer with a mouse. Unfortunately, my love of a particular hotkey cost me a ton of digital data one day. The hotkey I speak of is SHIFT+DELETE. Pressing this allows you to delete files permanently, bypassing the Recycle Bin Windows users are so accustomed to using. I grew tired of this stopgap, and chose instead to utilize my newly discovered hotkey. And so it happened, a massive hard drive collection of music, videos, programs totaling around 100 GB, gone in one fell, efficient swoop. I didn't mean to delete everything; it just happened and I'm not sure how. It was kind of like wielding a big shiny sword and then somehow your nearby friend gets stabbed in the leg. One may think that I no longer use this hotkey, but I like to think that I've learned from my mistake. No further accidents have occurred, and I hope to keep it that way. You might say I've learned to take better care of the sword."
